People in rural Rwanda face a different challenge in accessing clean drinking water. Women and children often have to walk long distances to find a water source, even a dirty one. And when water is found, on average 175 families share one borehole. We believe that the private sector has a key role to play in addressing these challenges and we support rural communities in affordable water solutions. Our top project is in the Kayonza sector in Eastern Region where we have already supplied water to over 4,000 households.
We also supply home water filters to private households.
